Big rummage sale friday and saturday in Marigot

Shops in Marigot are having a big rummage sale friday and saturday from 9:30 a.m to 7 p.m.

The Marigot Merchants Association is hosting a large rummage sale on April 8th and 9th in collaboration with all members and downtown merchants. After a disappointing start to the year, this event should enable the 60 or so merchants located in Doigt De Gant (Marina royale, Kennedy and Charles de Gaulle streets)  to make a bit of cash before the start of the low season, for an entry fee € 90 from each of them.

By offering their merchandise at low prices they will delight their regular customers. "This is the time of bargains" states Yann Lecam President of Action Economique Citoyenne (AEC). To make these two days truly festive, Jean-Louis will be in charge of musical entertainment while Hervé, crooner and entertainer well known to the inhabitants of Saint-Martin, will ensure the commercial animation.

Hosted in partnership between Samagest, the Collectivité, CCISM and Marina Port la royale to reinvigorate Marigot, this rummage sale is, at the request of the CCISM, part of a more global movement. In addition to downtown merchants, those located in Howell Center and West Indies wishing to do so, will also have their own rummage sale on the same dates.
